challenge
Outdated tools and lack of standardized frameworks meant Credit Karma’s marketing emails and landing pages were constantly built from scratch. This created huge production bottlenecks, increased design debt, and a disconnected experience for members as we rolled out a new brand identity.
ROLE
I led the creative strategy and hands-on system builds across both email and web touchpoints. I audited our growth channels, created clear strategic categories and built the modular Figma component libraries, documentation, and specs.
Result
Delivered two production-ready design systems that unified the member journey from inbox to landing page. The new frameworks eliminated design debt, sped up production cycles, and made it easy for teams to launch high-converting, on-brand campaigns at scale.
strategic categorization
Organized our email and web ecosystem into three clear tiers tied to business outcomes, giving cross-functional teams a shared model for how every asset drives value.
WireframeS:
Modular Foundations
Examples of template styles and component sets built in Figma. These were modularized into a shared library so our team could stop building from scratch and start scaling fast.
Final Mocks:
unified Brand Experience
The system in action across email and landing page touchpoints. Matching the visual language between inbox and web gave members a seamless, on-brand journey from click to conversion.
Eng Handoff:
Dev SpecS Sample
Clear handoff docs covering component anatomy, color specs, type styles, and spacing. This shared blueprint kept our code clean and took the guesswork out of engineering handoffs.
